Saman Agharahmanian, DPM, comes to Starrett Podiatry from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, where he completed his residency in podiatry with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery and served as chief resident. Before that, he attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, where he co-founded the school’s branch of the Jewish Podiatric Student Medical Association and was active in its sports medicine club as well as its branch of American Society of Podiatric Dermatology.

Dr. Agharahmanian is excited to continue growing his leadership skills and diverse experience in podiatry that he began accumulating as a resident and student. His rotations as a resident at hospitals in New York and Illinois brought him experience with surgical specialties including orthopedic trauma, limb salvation, foot and ankle reconstruction, and external fixation.

In his young career, Dr. Agharahmanian has already seen firsthand how rewarding podiatry can be, especially podiatric surgery, because he can help people regain the ability to walk after sustaining severe foot damage. He looks forward to serving the Harlem community at Starrett Podiatry.
